Note Taking Apps

For this week's blog, I have chosen to review note taking apps. I have had an iPad for about a year now and have been using the app Bamboo Paper for only a few weeks. I have tried other note taking apps, but I am not the biggest fan of typing, so finding Bamboo Paper was a dream come true. My favorite feature included within the app is the option to write the notes with a stylus, just like you would with a pen on paper, and the app automatically organizes the notes. Not only can you type, but you can draw, and the app offers many different types of note taking options. Although the app could use quite a bit of work, it is still by far my favorite.

Aside from using a high tech app, I also really just enjoy going with the classic app included with most if not all electronic devices, which is notes. I have all apple devices and having iCloud wired with all of my devices allows my notes to appear in each device after being typed on just my iPad for example. The app is really easy to use, and helps me keep track of everything I need, on which ever device I have at hand.

Overall, note taking apps are great, but I am old fashioned and enjoy hand writing far more than anything technology will ever have to offer. No matter how much time I spend trying to learn to use cell phones, computer, tablets, etc. I still struggle to understand them completely, so it is always more enjoyable to stick to the technique I have been taught to use my whole life and that is to write with a pen and paper.
